Protection of Natural Glaciers: The Future of Afghanistan’s Water Resources

In March 2025, MSSADO, in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering at Jami University, organized a scientific conference titled “Protection of Natural Glaciers: The Future of Afghanistan’s Water Resources.” The event brought together over 100 academics, specialists, students, and water professionals to discuss the rapid decline of Afghanistan’s glaciers and its implications for water security. Through evidence-based presentations and research findings, the conference reinforced MSSADO’s commitment to academic collaboration, environmental advocacy, and sustainable water resource management.
